Lesson plan
Show the video on the link 'Amnesty International: Everybody - We are all born free' on VideoLink up to 1:00 minute. The children have previously watched this video in Year 4, so it should be a recap. Hand out whiteboards and pens and allow the children one minute to note down any human rights they can recall. Take feedback.
Play the remainder of the video and check the children's answers.
(Note that the children have looked before at the rights of children in RSE & PSHE, Year 3, Citizenship: Lesson 1: Rights of the childand human rights in RSE & PSHE, Year 4, Citizenship, Lesson 1: What are human rights?)
