Lesson plan
What is in the sound box?
Show the class a box, basket or envelope labelled with the phoneme b/v.
Challenge the children to work with a partner and to think of as many different items or words that might be found in the box. The words can start with or contain the phoneme (for example, bolígrafo - pen, botella - bottle, verde -green, blanco - white, nueve - nine, vivo - I live, Barcelona).
Take feedback from the children and share examples. The Pupilvideo: Phoneme b/v could be used here as a reminder of some vocabulary items if needed.
