A database is a structured and orderly collection of data.
A record shows a set of information that is organised into categories.
A field is a category used to organise data.
Data refers to information or values, often held in a record, which may consist of text or numbers.

Richard is a Year 6 Teacher at St. Pancras Primary School. Richard’s passion for teaching was recognised when he received Suffolk’s ‘Raising The Bar’ award for Innovation 2016. With his class he made the world’s first guided VR:360 school tour and also a 3D-printed asthma inhaler that Tim Peake tweeted about whilst he was aboard the ISS which led to a meeting back on Earth. His love of robotics saw him coach a rookie robotics team to win the UK finals of RoboCup where they then went onto the world finals in Brazil.
