1. Recap and recall

Before starting this unit, check the children can recall:

  • Any festivals that take place in Spain and some activities carried out to celebrate these.

  • How to use a bilingual dictionary (see Teacher skills video).

Display the Presentation: Fiestas recall. Some children may recognise or recall some elements of the different Spanish festivals. Take feedback before reading the information together.
