Art and D&T: Long-term plan (26/27 preview)

This document provides a preview of the 2026/2027 Art and D&T long-term plan for schools that alternate between the subjects each half term. Schools must be subscribed to both subjects to access all units outlined in the plan.

This video helps the pupils understand the difference between minor and serious injuries and when it is important to tell a trusted adult to keep themselves and others safe.

Pupil video: Feeling unwell

This video helps the pupils understand how their bodies may feel when they are unwell, introducing simple vocabulary and actions to help them recognise and describe their symptoms.

Pupil video: Who looks after our health?

This video introduces the pupils to the people who help keep us healthy, explaining how healthcare workers care for us when we are ill and help prevent illness through check-ups, advice and medicines.
