Unit outcomes
Pupils who are secure will be able to:
- Play most of the bass line in time.
- Follow a musical pattern and re-join if they make a mistake or get lost.
- Explain that a chord is two notes being played together.
- Play the chords C and F on an instrument.
- Explain what the offbeat is.
- Demonstrate knowledge by playing the chords in time.
- Write lyrics that match a given melody.
- Understand their role within the band.
