Citizenship: How do people belong to a community and earn money?

This unit is part of the new RSE & PSHE scheme, developed in line with the updated government Relationships, Sex and Health Education guidance. The lesson content will be published by 21st September 2026
Unit outcomes
Exploring communities, belonging and money through learning about the different groups people are part of and how decisions can be made fairly. Pupils reflect on similarities and differences within their community, use simple voting to consider different viewpoints and develop an understanding of where money comes from and how it is earned.
