Lesson plan

1. Recap and recall

This activity revisits learning from Lesson 3: Experimental techniques to help the children recall key knowledge.

Ask the children to open their sketchbooks to the experiments completed in the previous lesson. Pair the children and show the Presentation: Techniques. Ask the pairs to identify which technique created each effect (the result of an artist's choices, including how an artwork looks and what it makes people think, feel or notice).
