Adaptive teaching
Adults could give support by:
- Offering the option to draw around the child’s hand instead of using paint if they are sensitive to sensory experiences.
- Modelling sentence starters during the Adult-led task, such as ‘I like…’ and ‘I’m good at…’, to support the children to talk about themselves.
