Display the artwork of artist Hom Nguyen, a French Vietnamese artist known for his expressive paintings of people, known in art as portraits, using the link: Hom Nguyen.
Remind children that abstract means to use shapes, lines or colours to express a thought or feeling, rather than trying to show how something looks in real life. Realistic means to try to show something as it looks in real life.
