Adaptive teaching

Adults could give support by:

  • Providing a simple frame for the children to cover and adapt.
  • Giving children clear roles, such as choosing materials, holding the roof or checking whether the bear fits.
  • Showing the posters as a prompt for what to do if something is tricky using the Resource: Picture prompts.
  • Allowing children to indicate choices without handling the materials.
