Lesson plan

1. Recap and recall

This activity revisits learning from Lesson 1: Introduction to Bhangra to help the children recall key knowledge.

Assign a category to three corners of the classroom: traditional Punjabi music, electronic music and Bhangra music. Label the corners if needed. Explain that the children will hear statements describing different types of music and should move to the matching corner.

Show the Presentation: Three corners. Read the first statement aloud. Allow the children time to choose a corner before taking feedback and revealing the correct answer. Repeat for the remaining three statements.
