Pupils needing extra support

  • Year 5: May need additional explanation of freedom of expression and some specific examples.
  • Year 6: When writing Malala’s story they could use the information they have looked at together as a class and/or the link: Kids Kiddle - Malala Yousafzai facts.

 

Pupils working at greater depth

  • Year 5: Can be challenged to explain in more detail why there are some limitations on freedom of expression. 
  • Year 6: Can be challenged to undertake additional research about Malala, explaining how her campaign can make a difference for others.
