Building kind and positive friendships

This RSE & PSHE video introduces the children to the key qualities that help them build positive friendships. Through simple examples, the children learn that using kind words, taking turns and listening carefully can help everyone feel respected and included.

The video helps the children understand that being helpful and inviting others to join in can strengthen friendships and that having fun together helps people feel connected. The children also learn that friends sometimes make mistakes, and that saying sorry and forgiving each other can help them move on and stay friends. This supports the children in developing positive relationships and respectful behaviour.

This video is part of Kapow Primary’s RSE & PSHE KS1 videos, which enable teachers and pupils to explore growth and change and help develop personal, social and emotional skills, as well as an understanding of relationships and health education.
