It is important to make Design and technology relevant to pupils by giving them an insight into how existing products have been developed. This document shows significant designers and inventors studied in our design and technology scheme and those that could be studied further if time allows.

As the scheme is expanded from four to six lessons per unit, further opportunities to study designers from a variety of backgrounds will be added to the lessons.
