Finding support when we need help

This RSE & PSHE video helps the children understand who can support them when they are struggling with worries, emotions or difficult situations. They learn that everyone experiences tough moments and that there are many trusted adults and organisations that can help. Through clear examples, the video introduces different sources of support, including teachers, teaching assistants, parents, carers, GPs, counsellors and helplines such as Childline.

The video explains how these people can listen, offer advice and help the children manage difficult feelings or situations. They also learn that asking for help is a positive step and that they do not have to deal with worries alone. By exploring different types of support, the video encourages the children to recognise trusted adults in their own lives and feel more confident about seeking help when they need it.

This video is part of Kapow Primary’s RSE & PSHE UKS2 videos, which enable teachers and pupils to explore growth and change and help develop personal, social and emotional skills, as well as an understanding of relationships and health education.
