This Design and technology scheme of work video shows the children how to use Sketchpad to create simple logos using digital design tools. It shows the key processes of using vector fill to change the colour of clipart and shapes to suit a chosen brand or theme. It also shows how to add text to image-based designs, select a suitable font style, change the colour and size and arrange the position of text and images effectively.

The video illustrates each design step clearly so the children feel confident and well prpared to create their own logo in the lesson and unit below.
