How kindness helps ourselves and others

This RSE & PSHE video helps the children understand how kindness and helping others can have a positive effect on wellbeing. They explore what it means to be kind and learn that kindness involves choosing to do something caring or helpful without expecting a reward.

The video shows that kindness can be demonstrated in many simple ways, such as helping at home, supporting a friend or showing care for someone who needs it. The children are encouraged to notice opportunities to be kind in everyday life and reflect on how even small actions can make a difference. The video also helps them understand that kindness can strengthen relationships and communities while supporting their own confidence, happiness and wellbeing.

This video is part of Kapow Primary’s RSE & PSHE LKS2 videos, which enable teachers and pupils to explore growth and change and help develop personal, social and emotional skills, as well as an understanding of relationships and health education.
