Exploring how we can help others

This RSE & PSHE video encourages the children to think about the different ways people can help and support others in everyday life. Through a range of real-life examples, they see how kindness and helpfulness can be shown by many different people, including emergency services, community workers, family members and friends.

The video helps the children understand that making a positive difference does not depend on having a particular job or role. They are encouraged to reflect on what it means to be helpful and how small acts of kindness and support can have an important impact on others. This supports them in developing empathy, respect and an understanding of positive relationships within their communities.

This video is part of Kapow Primary’s RSE & PSHE LKS2 videos, which enable teachers and pupils to explore growth and change and help develop personal, social and emotional skills, as well as an understanding of relationships and health education.
