What being a friend means

This RSE & PSHE video helps children understand what makes a good friend and how positive friendships are built. It explores how friends speak and act kindly towards each other, listen, take turns and treat others fairly. Children are encouraged to recognise the importance of noticing when someone needs help, offering support and including others so that no one feels left out.

The video also highlights how spending time together and making each other happy can strengthen friendships. It reassures children that friends sometimes make mistakes and explores how saying sorry and forgiving each other can help friendships grow stronger.

This video is part of Kapow Primary’s RSE & PSHE KS2 videos and supports children in recognising the qualities of a positive friendship and developing kindness, empathy, fairness and a sense of belonging.
