Adaptive teaching
Pupils needing support:
- Could use an audio device to record their captions during the Main event instead of writing them.
- Could use sentence starters from the Activity: Image captions to support writing a caption.
Pupils working at greater depth:
- Should compare ways people pray by identifying similarities and differences using appropriate vocabulary.
- Should use correct terminology (for example, Allah, mosque, Salah, Wudu) to describe Muslim prayer practices.
- Could write a caption and a thought bubble for each image to explain what is happening and what people may be thinking.
