Could focus on nouns that are cognates or near-cognates to gain confidence in writing words accurately; could use the Knowledge organiser to support vocabulary recognition, spelling, and choice of the indefinite article.

Pupils working at greater depth

Could use a range of masculine and feminine nouns, including new ones with more complex spelling and the correct form of the indefinite article.
