Pupils needing extra support: could use the Resource: Knowledge organiser for visual support for the shop vocabulary.

 

Pupils working at greater depth: could be prompted to recall vocabulary from memory and explore patterns in language (see Sentence building in the Main event) to create a full range of sentences using au, à la, and à l’.
