Suggested mixed-age cohorts

Two-year cycle

 

Reception/Year 1 A cohort of Reception and Year 1 pupils.
Year 2/3 A cohort of Year 2 and Year 3 pupils.
Year 4/5 A cohort of Year 4 and 5 pupils.

 

Three-year cycle

 

Reception/Y1/Y2 A cohort of Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 pupils. This link may also be useful for Reception/Year 1 and Year 1/2 cohorts. 
Year 2/3/4 A cohort of Year 2, 3 and 4 pupils. This link may also be useful for Year 2/3 and Year 3/4 cohorts.
Year 4/5/6 A cohort of Year 4, 5 and 6 pupils. This link may also be useful for Year 4/5 and Year 5/6 cohorts.

Four-year cycle

 

Year 3/4/5/6 A cohort of KS2 pupils. This link may also be useful if you have classes where the same year group appears in different cohorts, e.g. Year 3/4 and Year 4/5/6 or Year 3/4/5 and Year 5/6.
