How families care for each other

This RSE & PSHE video helps the children understand how people care for each other in everyday family life. Through familiar scenes, the children see examples of kindness, support and connection, such as spending time together, helping one another and showing affection.

The video helps the children understand that families can look different and include people of different ages and relationships. The children are encouraged to recognise how people in their own lives care for them and to think about how they can show care and kindness in return. This supports the children in developing respect, empathy and an understanding of positive relationships.

This video is part of Kapow Primary’s RSE & PSHE KS1 videos, which enable teachers and pupils to explore growth and change and help develop personal, social and emotional skills, as well as an understanding of relationships and health education.
