This Computing video introduces the children to different ways people can communicate using the internet. With no spoken narration, the animation shows the Kapow characters using a range of familiar methods, including email, instant messaging, video calls, voice notes, comments and online game chat.

By observing the different examples, the children explore how the internet allows people to communicate in a variety of ways using different devices and services. The video provides a visual starting point for identifying and comparing methods of online communication and considering how people use them in everyday life.

This video is part of Kapow Primary’s Computing videos, which help pupils develop their understanding of computer systems and digital technology. It encourages children to recognise how computers are used in everyday life and the different ways they can help us.
