Interview with Naomi Allman, Archaeologist

This Kapow History video introduces pupils to the fascinating world of archaeology through an engaging interview with Naomi, an archaeologist working at the British Museum. She shares how her passion for history and hands-on discovery led her to a career in archaeology, highlighting the importance of both academic study and practical experience.

Pupils will gain insight into how archaeology helps us uncover the past, from analysing artifacts to understanding ancient trade routes and construction methods. Naomi also discusses how archaeological research is evolving with new technology and explores the many career opportunities available to those interested in history and archaeology.

This video is part of Kapow Primary’s History in Action series, inspiring pupils to explore history through discovery, research and critical thinking in lessons like the one below.
