Pupils needing extra support

Should, during the Recap and recall, follow the video transcript using the Activity: América del sur from the previous lesson; should use the Activity: Making comparisons: support version during the Main event.

Pupils working at greater depth

Could predict the problems that the animals have in Spanish during the Attention grabber;  should use additional vocabulary from their memory or sourced from a Spanish-English bilingual dictionary to make further comparisons during the Main event; should write multi-clause sentences using the conjunction and y – and (e.g. Hay menos árboles y menos frutas para comer que antes – There are fewer trees and less fruit than before).
