Adaptive teaching
Pupils needing extra support:
Could start with re-telling part of the original story using the annotated story map for support, concentrating on accurate pronunciation of each phrase. They could add more sections as they increase in confidence.
Pupils working at greater depth:
Could include extra detail using different vocabulary from previous units, for example, trois pizzas, un hamburger, et un gâteau – three pizzas, a hamburger, and a cake.
