This assessment spreadsheet is designed for those who would like to track pupils’ attainment in Art and design and DT and are teaching the units set out in Kapow primary’s combined Long-term plan.
It is important to make Design and technology relevant to pupils by giving them an insight into how existing products have been developed. This document shows significant designers and inventors studied in our design and technology scheme and those that could be studied further if time allows.
As the scheme is expanded from four to six lessons per unit, further opportunities to study designers from a variety of backgrounds will be added to the lessons.
