What is Zakat?
This Religion and worldviews video helps pupils understand the Muslim practice of Zakat and the values of kindness, fairness and empathy. It shows that giving can mean sharing money, food, clothes or other items to help those in need.
The video shows Ayaan and Zara explaining that Zakat is one of the Five Pillars of Islam and an important part of their faith. It helps pupils see how Zakat brings people together, spreads hope and helps make the world a fairer place.
