The Bible helps me learn
This Kapow pupil video is part of the Kapow Religion and worldviews scheme of work. It shares how one Christian uses the Bible in everyday life to guide their actions and help them understand their faith.
For many Christians, the Bible is a source of guidance, encouragement and teaching. Some people read it during quiet moments or with friends, discussing its meaning and how it can help them live kindly and fairly. In church, they might hear passages during communion or in a sermon and think deeply about how to live better. Singing songs based on Bible verses and reading stories to children also helps them connect with their beliefs. Christians often ask God to help them understand and live by what the Bible teaches.
The video is designed to be shown to pupils as part of Religion and worldviews, Lower key stage 2, Year 3, Is scripture central to religion? Lesson 5: What does the Bible mean to some Christians?
