Ball control skills

This Kapow pupil video is part of the Kapow PE scheme of work. It is designed for pupils and teaches turning techniques to change direction while dribbling. The video begins with the inside turn, reaching a foot around the back of the ball to tap it with the inside, turning left with the right foot and right with the left. Pupils also see how to adjust for sharper or smoother turns. Next is the outside turn, using the outside of the foot to guide the ball in the same-direction turn. Pupils are reminded to keep their heads up, look into the space they are turning into, and use light, controlled touches to stay in possession.
