Good thoughts, good deeds

This Kapow pupil video is part of the Kapow Religion and worldviews scheme of work. It introduces the Zoroastrian creation story and helps you understand what some people believe about God, good and evil.

You’ll hear how Ahura Mazda, a powerful and kind god, created the world full of light and goodness, and how people were asked to help keep it that way. The story teaches that by using good thoughts, good words and good actions, everyone can help make the world a better place.

The video is designed to be shown to pupils as part of Religion and worldviews, Key stage 1, Year 1, *Updated* What is God’s job? Lesson 6: What do some Zoroastrian people believe about God?
