Jesus heals a blind man

This Kapow pupil video is part of the Kapow Religion and worldviews scheme of work. It tells a story from the Bible where Jesus meets a man who cannot see. Jesus gently makes some mud using dust and spit, then carefully places it on the man’s eyes. He tells the man to go and wash in the water — and when the man does, he opens his eyes and sees the world clearly for the first time. The man sees trees, the sky, and the smiling faces around him — even Jesus. Christians believe Jesus performed miracles like this using God’s power. This story shows how Jesus cared for others, and how he wanted people to be kind and loving, especially towards those who needed help.
