Caring for Allah’s creatures

This Kapow pupil video is part of the Kapow Religion and worldviews scheme of work. It shares stories from the Muslim worldview about the Prophet Muhammad and his kindness towards animals. Children will learn about a story involving ants and how Muhammad was taught the importance of treating all creatures fairly. They will also hear how Muhammad cared for a thirsty camel and reminded others that animals are part of Allah’s creation. The video helps children explore the idea that animals deserve kindness and respect, and encourages them to think about how they can care for the world around them.

Religion and worldviews, Mixed-age, Y1/2 (A): Why should we care for the world? Lesson 4: What do some Muslim people believe about caring for the world?
