Exploring different places of worship
This Religion and worldviews video helps children explore how people from a range of worldviews and religions use places of worship. It introduces the idea that these places can support prayer, learning, reflection and community.
The video shares examples from different religions and worldviews, showing how places of worship can help people learn from scripture, spend time with others, show respect and feel close to God. Pupils will see similarities and differences between different places and consider why these spaces are important to many people.
This video is part of Kapow Primary’s KS1 Religion and worldviews videos, which enable teachers and pupils to explore different beliefs, values and traditions and develop respect and understanding for people of all faiths and worldviews.
