How do mosques help some muslims to pray?
This Religion and worldviews video helps children explore how mosques are used by Muslims for prayer, learning and community events. It introduces some important features found in mosques and explains how these spaces can help Muslims feel close to Allah.
The video shows how Muslims prepare for prayer and use different parts of the mosque, including the washroom, mihrab and prayer hall. Pupils revisit practices such as Wudu and Salah, and learn how mosques bring communities together for worship and celebrations.
This video is part of Kapow Primary’s KS1 Religion and worldviews videos, which enable teachers and pupils to explore different beliefs, values and traditions and develop respect and understanding for people of all faiths and worldviews.
