What is a friend?

This RSE & PSHE video introduces children to the key qualities that help them build positive friendships.

Using simple examples, the video shows how friends use kind words, take turns and listen carefully so that everyone feels respected and included. Children recognise that being helpful and inviting others to join in play can make friendships stronger, and that having fun together is an important part of feeling connected. The video explains that friends sometimes make mistakes but saying sorry and forgiving each other helps them move on and stay friends.

This video is part of Kapow Primary’s RSE & PSHE resources, supporting children in developing the skills they need to form caring, fair and inclusive relationships.
