Jesus feeds the five thousand

This Kapow pupil video is part of the Kapow Religion and worldviews scheme of work. It tells the story of Jesus feeding a crowd of more than five thousand people with just five loaves of bread and two fish. Children will hear how a young boy shared his food, and how Jesus gave thanks before performing a miracle that made the food multiply. Everyone had enough to eat, and there were even leftovers. The story helps children explore the ideas of sharing, compassion and belief, and why this miracle is important to many Christian people.

The video is designed to be shown to pupils as part of Religion and worldviews, Mixed-age, Y3/4 (A): Who was Jesus really? Lesson 5: How did Jesus inspire people?
