Shared beliefs

In this Religion and worldviews video, children continue exploring the Abrahamic religions by learning about some of the important figures believed to be descendants of Isaac and Ishmael. They discover the story of Moses, a key prophet in Abrahamic religions, who is believed to have led the Israelites out of Egypt and received the Ten Commandments from God.

The video explains how these commandments and the Torah are important to Jewish and Christian worldviews and how Muslims also believe that Moses was a messenger of God who helped prepare the way for the final prophet, Muhammad.

This video is part of Kapow Primary’s Religion and Worldviews resources and helps children deepen their understanding of the people, stories and teachings that connect Abrahamic religions.
