Creating a musical learning experience part 1

This Music video introduces teachers to effective strategies for setting up and leading musical learning in the EYFS classroom. It explores the importance of modelling in music and how to use activities like the “voices” and “sound and symbol” games to help children develop vocal confidence and musical awareness. The video also demonstrates the use of musical leader signals and provides guidance on classroom layout to encourage group engagement, independence, and creative exploration of sound.

This video is part of Kapow Primary’s Music EYFS resources. It supports teachers in building confident, engaging lessons that develop foundational music skills through playful vocal and group activities.
