Fastening a template

This Design and technology scheme of work video introduces Year 3 pupils to techniques for securely attaching a template to fabric before cutting.

The children will see how to use pins safely, manage loose fabric and cut accurately around shapes and curves. Step-by-step instructions guide the children to build confidence in shaping fabric and checking for precision.
