Recap and recall

Human shapes Arrange the children into pairs and challenge them to see how many different shapes they can make using their bodies and name them in Spanish. Invite a selection of pairs to make a shape and ask the rest of the class to guess the shape’s name in Spanish.

Pupils needing extra support

Could annotate the word bank on the Activity: Animal mosaics with appropriate shapes and colours; could have a printed copy of the Knowledge organiser or use their work from the previous lesson to support; could use pre-cut sticky shapes with the activity template.
