Pupils needing extra support

Should focus on the animal presentation section of the podcast without explorer introduction; could record their presentation one phrase at a time, using the audio from the Presentation: Amazon explorers as a model for support.

Pupils working at greater depth

Could consider how to enhance their animal’s characteristics using word choice, greetings, voice and other effects; could incorporate other information that the explorer or animal could give, e.g. what the weather is like or other things the animal does or does not like to do or eat.
