Adaptive teaching

Pupils needing extra support

Should use the Activity: Local resident characters to help them in their role as a local resident; could role-play a resident character that they are familiar with, e.g. a child. 

Pupils working at greater depth

Could take on the role of a councillor during the role play and should be challenged to look at things from the viewpoint of both the residents and the council.
