Adaptive teaching
Children who need support:
- Could use the Resource: Justification prompts to support their justification in the Activity: Taking action.
- Could be given a reduced-load role during the game show in the Main event, such as timekeeper or decision collector, to focus on listening to the scenarios and responses.
- Could choose between two possible actions instead of three by using a reduced set of options to support decision-making.
Children working at greater depth:
- Should explain why one action is more effective than another by comparing two possible responses and their outcomes.
- Should suggest an alternative safe action and justify why it would help in that situation.
