Adaptive teaching
Pupils needing extra support:
- Could use the Resource: Feeling unwell to recall actions from the video when describing how they feel.
- Could use actions and pointing to show where and how they feel unwell during the role-playing.
Pupils working at greater depth:
- Should make sensible decisions about how urgent a situation is by explaining their reasoning.
- Should give fuller detail when telling an adult by including where it hurts, what the pain feels like, how bad it is and how long it has lasted.
- Could create a ‘feeling unwell’ scenario for a partner and explain whether they agree with the response (for example, at playtime, you fall and bang your knee, it does not really hurt, and there is no mark).
