Adaptive teaching
Pupils needing extra support:
- Could play just one chord (C or F) to focus on staying in time.
- Could work in pairs, each playing one note of the chord, to support playing both notes together.
Pupils working at greater depth:
- Should play the full chord pattern confidently and accurately by maintaining a steady beat.
- Should play the chords on a different instrument (for example, keyboard, ukulele or guitar).
- Could sing independently while playing the chord pattern, without additional audio support.
