Adaptive teaching

Pupils needing extra support:

  • Could use an alternative input device (e.g. a trackball mouse, large key keyboard, high contrast keyboard or a stylus with a chunky grip for tablet-based activities) to control tools more accurately when using the program.
  • Could say the file name out loud before typing it.
  • Could have their name written or printed out (e.g. book name labels) to copy the spelling if this is part of the file name.

Pupils working at greater depth:

  • Should come up with their own suggestions for a file name.
